Did You Know...
FACT - Estée Lauder was born Josephine Esther Mentzer to a Hungarian father and French mother. Estée was about nineteen when she met Joseph Lauder and began to use the Lauder spelling for her name of products. After 20 years of slow hard work in the cosmetics industry, by selling a face cream made by her Hungarian uncle, she built up an estimated $1 billion a year business that employs some 10,000 people around the world and operates under such names as Estee Lauder, Aramis, Clinique, Prescriptives, Origins, M.A.C., Bobbi Brown Essentials and Tommy Hilfiger!
